Designation as either a Type 1 or Type 2 facility by the City of Houston and your facility will be require to monitor pursuant to section 47-723(b)(12) or section 47-723(c)(5) of the City of Houston’s city ordinances. Storm Water Site Manager can help with the development of your site drainage patterns and if needed site map(s) to help accurately depict drainage patterns and sampling points of interest for your facility so you can monitor in pursuant to section 47-723(b)(12) or section 47-723(c)(5) of the City of Houston’s city ordinances.

The Storm Water Site Manager can perform the sampling requirements designated by your Type 1 or Type 2 designation. The collection storm water samples must be made in pursuant to the Multi Sector General Permit No. TXR050000 Part III. Section C. A facility can terminate its designation as a Type 1 or Type 2 Designation if the facility believes it no longer or has never contribute a substantial pollutant loading or a pollutant to the MS4.
