Site visits have an initial cost $250.00 for the first full hour and an additional $75.00 an hours for each additional hour with a minimum of one full hour plus travel cost. Most Storm Pollution Prevention Plans take anywhere from 10 to 15 hours to complete excluding the initial site visit plus travel.

Type 1 or Type 2 Designation

In 2010 the City of Houston will begin the implementation and enforcement of its Type 1 and Type 2 Designation of industrial facilities. Facilities who the City of Houston deem have a potential to adversely affect storm water quality from storm water associated with runoff from an industrial facility will be designated either Type 1 or Type 2. Facilities that are designated as either a Type 1 or Type 2 facility will be required to undergo specific monitoring requirement.
